I received my first camera, a Yashica Mat 124 medium format, as a gift from my parents, who encouraged me to enjoy and learn the elements of photography: focus, exposure, depth of field, composition, etc.  Upon recently re-locating to the Poconos, I found myself living next to the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, a place of great natural beauty and an inspiring subject for landscape photography.  In my photographic work, I seek to reveal a balanced compositional representation of the inherent strength and beauty of our natural landscape.  Currently working with a large format 4x5 view camera, I enjoy the extraordinary scenic detail revealed in larger prints.  - Jordan D.
